The buffet is a highlight, offering a chance to sample a variety of flavors in one sitting, with the promise that staff will whip up anything you desire.

“ It's the best pizza I had and good service I say it's worth the. Wait to eat a pizza here ”
“ Good pizza, bread sticks and pastas. Excellent buffet. Sometimes the pizza is a little underdone, but ok if you ask for it well done. ”
“ I'm a fan of pizza in general. I've had a lot of it from a lot of different places and a lot of different styles: thin, pan, deep-dish, hand-tossed, red pizzas, white pizzas, New York style, Chicago style, Neapolitan, Sicilian, you name it. I have my favorites, but through it all, I still love some Pisanello's any day of the week. I was probably in Junior High when Pisanello's came to town, maybe even sooner, so I sort of grew up eating it. The Pizza Cognition Theory states that the first slice of pizza a child sees and tastes becomes, for him, pizza. While Pisanello's wasn't my first, it was early enough that I keep coming back to it as the yardstick for "standard pizza". Other styles are good too; I love a good slice of brick-oven Neapolitan pizza, but if that's all I ever ate, I'd certainly start missing good-ol' Pisanello's. If you haven't had it, it has a pretty thin crust in the middle. It is floppy and foldable enough to be classified as a New York style crust, I suppose, although the pieces are substantially smaller than their East coast cousins. The cheese and toppings are always good, although I especially enjoy the pepperoni. I would say the distinguishing feature of a Pisanello's pizza is that it is gloriously greasy. It is heavy and unhealthy, but dang it, it tastes good. The bread sticks are also worth a try. I like getting them once in a while to mix things up. Also good are the subs and salads. I can't say I've ever gotten a bad one. I like them all. The only thing I've ever tried that was just so-so was an order of wings. Those are worth passing on and leaving more room for pizza. If you can catch the buffet, that's always a win too. Although the buffet is small, they will make whatever you want, so I always leave happy. Wrapping things up, the prices are fine, and the service is acceptable too. The workers are generally the current crop of local high-schoolers bound to be gone a year from now, so don't expect anything too spectacular, but I've never had bad service either. Bottom line: Pisanello's is really good. Unless you are a soulless monster you will love their pizza too. ”
